Yes! Most of our student apartments come fully furnished with essentials like a bed, desk, chair, wardrobe, and kitchen appliances. This means you can focus on your studies instead of worrying about buying furniture.
Do you help with Anmeldung (address registration) in Germany?
Absolutely. We guide every student step by step through the Anmeldung process so you can get your residence permit and bank account without stress. Our team also supports you with utilities and WiFi setup if needed.

I’m a student in Germany — what formalities do I need to complete after arriving?
Great question — and it’s one of the most common ones we get!
Once you arrive in Germany, there are a few essential steps you’ll need to take to get fully settled:
Open a German Bank Account (Girokonto):
This is your first step, as you’ll need it for rent payments, university fees, and salary if you do part-time work. Many students choose banks like N26, Deutsche Bank, or Commerzbank for English support and online access.
Register Your Address (Anmeldung):
Within 14 days of moving into your apartment, you must register your address at the local Bürgeramt (citizen’s office). You’ll receive a document called Meldebescheinigung — you’ll need it for almost everything that follows.
Get Health Insurance (Krankenversicherung):
Health insurance is mandatory in Germany. You can choose between public (TK, AOK, Barmer) or private providers. For most international students, public insurance works best.
Apply for a Tax ID (Steuer-ID):
Once you register your address, your Tax ID will automatically be mailed to you within 2–3 weeks. You’ll need this if you plan to work or do any paid internship in Germany.
Social Security Registration:
If you start working, even part-time, your employer will handle your social security registration — which includes pension, health, and unemployment insurance contributions.
